Beep, Beep, Go Outside!

A fire-drill sing-along: when the smoke alarm goes beep, beep, beep, go outside with your grown-up, stay outside and meet at your family's meeting spot. Don't hide, and leave the toys. Practice your home fire drill twice a year (NFPA) and pick your own meeting spot together.

Actions: cup your hands around your mouth on "beep, beep, beep", point a thumb over your shoulder on every "OUT!", march in place on "out we go", wag a finger for "don't hide", hold hands for "hand in hand", and throw both arms up on "hooray!".

Chorus

Beep, beep, beep! What does it say?
Go outside, right away!
Out we go, and out we stay,
At our meeting spot, hooray!
Beep-beep-OUT! Beep-beep-OUT!
Beep-beep-OUT! Beep-beep-OUT!
Beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep-OUT!

Verse 1

Piko stacks his blocks up high,
Beep, beep, beep! Oh my, oh my!
Don't hide, Piko! Go outside!
Mama Frog is by his side.

Verse 2

Piko grabs his boat and ball,
Mama Frog says, leave them all!
Toys can stay, and that's okay,
Hand in hand, we're on our way!

Chorus

Beep, beep, beep! What does it say?
Go outside, right away!
Out we go, and out we stay,
At our meeting spot, hooray!
Beep-beep-OUT! Beep-beep-OUT!
Beep-beep-OUT! Beep-beep-OUT!
Beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep-OUT!

Bridge

Where do we wait? By the big tree!
Mama, Luma, you and me!
Stay outside, don't go back in,
Till a grown-up says, come in!

Verse 3

Beep, beep, beep! Now Piko knows,
Leave the blocks, and out he goes!
To the tree, and there he'll stay,
Big frog hug! Hip, hip, hooray!

Chorus

Beep, beep, beep! What does it say?
Go outside, right away!
Out we go, and out we stay,
At our meeting spot, hooray!
Beep-beep-OUT! Beep-beep-OUT!
Beep-beep-OUT! Beep-beep-OUT!
Beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep-OUT!

Outro
