Scrub-a-Dub Hands

Sing it at the sink! Soap on, then scrub while you count to ten two times, about 20 seconds, the handwashing time the CDC recommends. Rinse with clean running water and dry with a towel.

Actions: rub palms on "scrub-a-dub", wiggle fingers on "bubble-bubble", clap on "POP!", twist thumbs and scrub fingertips in the verses, and pat-pat-pat to dry.

Chorus

Scrub-a-dub, rub-a-dub, rub, rub, rub!
Soap and water, scrub, scrub, scrub!
Scrub-a-dub, rub-a-dub, one, two, three!
Clean little hands for you and me!
Bubble-bubble pop, pop, pop!
Bubble-bubble pop, pop, pop!
Bubble-bubble, bubble-bubble,
Bubble-bubble... POP!

Verse 1

Piko pumps the water, wet, wet, wet!
Drippy little hands, ready, set!
Soap goes on, squish, squish, squish!
Rub your palms, swish, swish, swish!

Verse 2

Luma scrubs the backs, zip, zip, zip!
Fingers in between, zip, zip, zip!
Now the other hand, zip, zip, zip!
Zipper fingers, zip, zip, zip!

POP!

Bridge

Thumbs go twist, and nails go scratch!
Count to ten, and then again!
One, two, three, four, five,
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten!
One, two, three, four, five,
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten!

Verse 3

Rinse at the pump, splish, splash, splash!
Bubbles go bye-bye in a flash!
Dry with a towel, pat, pat, pat!
Clean little hands, how about that!

Scrub-a-dub, rub-a-dub, rub, rub, rub!
Soap and water, scrub, scrub, scrub!
Scrub-a-dub, rub-a-dub, one, two, three!
Clean little hands for you and me!

Bubble-bubble... POP!
